Key Responsibilities:

1. Maintain the books of fund managers, investment funds and their associated entities. Draft&book journals to accounting systems i.e. FIS, GP Dynamics.

2. Assist with quarter-end and year-end close processes.

3. Keep and organize the supports for accounting treatment.

4. Support the preparation of financial statements and related reports.

5. Keep informed on accounting standard updates including ASPE, IFRS, NI 81-106 etc.

6. Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and research as needed.

7. Collaborate with other departments to support finance-related initiatives.

Requirements:

1. Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. 

2. Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

4. Ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment, with strong attention to detail and thoroughness.

5. Strong written and verbal communication skills.

6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and suggest improvements
